A well-established and expanding Chauffeur & Concierge company is seeking a capable and hands-on Accountant & Bookkeeper to manage the day-to-day financial operations across multiple business divisions.
This is a broad and commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys being involved across all aspects of finance — from transactional accounting through to reporting, cash flow management, and process improvement.

The Role Reporting directly to the Directors, you will be responsible for the end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping function across multiple entities within the business. This role requires someone who is highly organised, detail-oriented, commercially aware, and confident in managing both transactional and reporting responsibilities. In addition, you will:
- Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities
- Manage the general ledger, journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial summaries for Directors
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes and prepare company files for external accountants
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting activities
- Monitor the company's financial performance and identify variances or irregularities
- Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Reconcile credit cards, merchant facilities, and company expenses
- Monitor business cash flow and assist management with forecasting requirements
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- End-to-end accounts payable processing, reviewing, verifying, and processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Manage supplier payment runs and ensure payments are made within agreed trading terms, resolve supplier account queries and reconcile supplier statements
- Raise and issue invoices across various business divisions, monitor debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve customer billing discrepancies
- Maintain strong cash collection processes to support the company's cash flow and prepare debtor reporting and aged receivables analysis
- Process weekly and fortnightly payroll accurately and on time
- Manage payroll reconciliations, superannuation, leave balances, and payroll reporting, and ensure compliance with Fair Work, taxation, and superannuation obligations
- Maintain employee payroll records and assist with payroll-related queries
- Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
- Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and financial advisers, and maintain compliance with accounting standards
- Review current processes and identify opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes
About You To be successful in this role, you will bring strong accounting fundamentals, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment. You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in an Accountant, Assistant Accountant, or Senior Bookkeeper role
- Experience managing finance functions across multiple entities or divisions
- Strong understanding of AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, BAS, and reporting
- Intermediate to advanced MYOB and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to communicate confidently with both internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive attitude with the ability to take ownership of responsibilities
