Full-time Accounts Clerk role based at Darwin Golf Club, responsible for supporting the club’s day-to-day accounting and financial administration functions. Duties include processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing invoices and statements, reconciling bank accounts and daily takings, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with payroll and supporting month-end reporting processes. The successful candidate will have experience with accounts or finance administration, strong attention to detail, experience with accounting software, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced club or hospitality environment.

Task & responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and issue invoices, statements and receipts
- Reconcile bank accounts and daily takings
- Maintain accurate financial records and data entry
- Assist with payroll processing and employee records
- Calculate and analyse expenditure, wages and standard costs
- Manage supplier and member account enquiries
- Support month-end procedures and financial reporting
- Allocate expenditure to specified budget accounts
- Prepare reports relating to costs, inventory adjustments, selling prices and profits
- Perform general finance and administration duties as required
Qualification & experience
- Previous experience in an accounts, bookkeeping or finance administration role
- Certificate III or IV in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience using accounting software such as MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks
- Experience using Swiftpos Point of Sale systems
- Experience using MiClub software
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office systems
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Previous experience in a club, hospitality or member-based environment is highly regarded
