About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer on a 12 month fixed term contract to join the team at ASC Osborne SA! As an Accounts Officer you will collaborate on issues with wider finance team members including payroll, corporate and project finance teams, resolve common issues and contribute to a high level of customer service from the finance team.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Manage day to day accounts activities.
  • Provide accurate and timely resolution of supplier transactions, employee expenses and any other payments in accordance with ASC contracts.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records for employee and supplier payments and customers receipts and balances.
  • Prepare diligent month end closing reports and reconciliation as required.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of all governance and compliance requirements of the ASC Group applicable to the Accounts Team, directly and indirectly

About you 

  • Previous Accounts experience in a Medium to Large organisation is required.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office applications, particularly Outlook, Teams, Word and Excel is a must.
  • Experience learning to effectively utilise an ERP or other comparable finance central systems.
  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal.
  • Be a strong team player and have strong stakeholder relationship building skills.

Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance up to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance.
