Our client, a local tile retailer, has an exciting position for a Full Time or Part Time Accounts Officer to join their finance team. Immediate start is available working from their head office at Mayfield West with family friendly hours, on-the-job training and opportunity to progress.
We are excited to welcome a new team member to our busy & dynamic accounts team, working collaboratively across all departments.
As part of our Accounts Team your day-today duties will include:
Cash/EFTPOS reconciliation
Accounts payable processing
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Preparation of supplier payments
Reconciliation of company credit cards
Follow up of outstanding debtors
Payroll processing
Our Ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Ability to manage work within agree standards and timelines
Strong communication skills & ability to problem-solve
Strong computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel
Cert IV in Finance or Accounting will be highly beneficial but not mandatory
Experience with the following would also be an advantage:
Payroll Tax Calculation & Lodgement
Monthly IAS & BAS lodgements
Assistance with job cost reports and inventory management
Monthly journal entries
Preparation of draft financial reports for management review
Clear-Tile software
