About the Role:

The Admin / Accounts Officer will be responsible for assisting with accounts payable, accounts receivable, data entry, invoice processing, general office administration and occasionally answering phones

The successful candidate will work closely with management and be an intergral part of the team helping with general operations.

Duties:

  • Answering phones

  • General admin and client enquiries

  • Processing supplier invoices and payment records

  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable

  • Preparing and issuing invoices, statements and payment reminders

  • Reconciling accounts and following up on outstanding payments

  • Maintaining accurate records in accounting and administration systems

  • Responding to supplier, customer and internal accounts enquiries

  • Assisting with payroll administration where required

  • Filing, scanning and maintaining organised documentation

  • Supporting general office administration duties

  • Assisting management with reports and other ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping or a similar office-based role

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Strong organisational and time management skills

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook

  • Experience using accounting software such as Xero, MYOB or similar will be highly regarded

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
