Salary Range: LGO2- LGO3 ( $67,410 - $81,390 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience
Location: Townsville
Application Close: 11:45pm, Monday 8 June 2026Provide daily care for animals including feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and general husbandry, while assessing behaviour and making clear rehoming recommendations. Monitor health, identify illness or injury, support veterinary care, administer treatments, and safely handle animals of all temperaments, including fearful or aggressive, using humane practices. Assist with euthanasia where required.
Deliver strong customer service by supporting adopters and owners, maintain accurate records and data from intake to exit, and provide front-of-office support including enquiries and payments. At Level 3, act as a designated ‘Relevant Person’ under Council approvals in line with the Medicines and Poisons Act 2019.
