About the role

As an Apprentice Panel Beater - 2nd or 3rd Year at VIC TIC PANELS' in Campbellfield, VIC, you will be responsible for assisting experienced panel beaters in repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This full-time role is an excellent opportunity to continue your automotive trade apprenticeship and develop your skills in the panel beating industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Assisting senior panel beaters with the disassembly, repair, and re-assembly of damaged vehicles

2. Operating panel beating tools and equipment to straighten, reshape, and reform vehicle panels

3. Preparing vehicle surfaces for painting by carrying out filling, sanding, and masking work

4. Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure efficient workflow

5. Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

6. Participating in on-the-job training to further develop your panel beating skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Currently undertaking a 2nd or 3rd year automotive panel beating apprenticeship

2. Strong practical skills and a keen interest in the automotive repair industry

3. Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and precisely

4. Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity

5. A positive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced panel beaters

6. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
