We are looking for someone to help our Farm Manager/handyman with the general upkeep, maintenance and improvement of our farm property in Somersby.

This is a hands-on, outdoor role with a wide variety of jobs. Duties may include mowing, whipper-snipping, slashing, grading, helping put up and repair fences, assisting with building projects, fixing water pipes, and general farm and property maintenance.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, practical, polite, professional and has a friendly, positive personality. The right attitude is very important to us. Experience with machinery, fencing, tools or farm maintenance would be an advantage, but we are also happy to consider someone younger or less experienced who is keen to learn and willing to work hard.

A current driver’s licence is essential.

The role can be full-time or around 3 days per week for the right person. Pay is up to $30 per hour depending on experience. We would also consider a lower starting rate for someone inexperienced who is willing to learn and grow into the role
