Assistant Manager | Lockies Hotel

Are you a hospitality professional ready to run the floor at one of the fastest-growing spots in South West Sydney? Lockies Hotel is looking for a driven, floor-focused Assistant Manager who thrives in a high-volume environment and knows how to lead a crew from the front.

"Lockies" is a true community engine room. Whether it's a bustling weekend family crowd in the bistro, a packed house for live sports in the public bar, or managing our premium gaming operations, this venue requires a leader who loves being in the thick of the action. We need someone with sharp operational instincts who can maintain elite standards and ensure our guests receive gold-class hospitality on every shift.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

• Get to know the locals so well they think you’re part of the crew
• Support the Publican to keep the pub running smoothly, safely, and with a great vibe
• Learn the ropes of being a Publican while leading a team of absolute hospo legends
• Handle hiccups before they turn into headaches
• Bring the energy, the service, and the smiles every single shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been around the bar, bistro, or gaming room block, and maybe already done some supervising
• You’ve learned from great managers and now you’re ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the pub when the boss is away
• You’ve got a current RSA and RCG/ARCG as per state requirements
