About the Company:
Compound Direct is a leading provider of compounding software solutions developed exclusively for compounding pharmacies. Our cutting-edge software simplifies the complexities of pharmacy compounding, empowering pharmacies to improve workflow efficiency, whilst mitigating many of the risks involved. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a passionate, seasoned Backend Developer to join our team.
 

Key Responsibilities:

TypeScript (Critical): Apply strong TypeScript skills to develop and maintain scalable backend services for our cloud-based compounding software.

RESTful API Development (Essential): Design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable RESTful APIs to support frontend systems and third-party integrations.

Database Proficiency (Essential): Work with MSSQL or equivalent relational databases to ensure reliable storage and retrieval of key data.

Node.js Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with Node.js is a plus, as we use it in parts of our server-side architecture.

AWS Familiarity (Preferred): Experience with Amazon Web Services is advantageous, as our infrastructure runs in the cloud.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Proven track record in backend development using TypeScript.

• Strong understanding of API design, development, and integration best practices.

• Solid experience with relational databases such as MSSQL.

• Experience with Node.js and/or AWS is a bonus.
