The Cupcake Queens are looking for a Bakery Manager to lead our production kitchen in Altona North. This is a hands on leadership role, you'll be baking and decorating alongside your team, not just managing from the sidelines.

We're a Melbourne based, family owned bakery with eight retail locations and a production kitchen in Altona North. Since opening in Williamstown in 2010, we've built a brand known for quality, consistency and a team culture people actually love coming to work for.

The Role

You'll lead our baking and decorating team, keep production running on schedule and make sure every product that leaves our kitchen meets our quality standards.

Day-to-Day you'll be:

• Leading, mentoring and rostering the bake and decorating crew

• Getting hands-on with baking, decorating and quality checks

• Planning and managing production schedules

• Overseeing commercial mixers, ovens and depositors

• Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards

• Managing inventory, workflows and efficiency

What we are looking for

• 3 to 5 years' experience in bakery, pastry or food production

• Minimum 2 years in a team leadership role

• Strong hands on baking or decorating skills

• Organised, calm under pressure and a clear communicator

• Food safety knowledge

• A baking, pastry or chef qualification (any formal qualification accepted)

What's on Offer

• Full time, Monday to Friday, 12pm to 8pm

• Flexibility is required to cover peak periods, team training and leave

• Based at our Altona North production kitchen
