About the role

Teaching Services Australia is seeking an experienced Band Director and Music Teacher to join our exceptional team at schools in and around our North Western Sydney locations. This full-time role will see you leading our school band programs and delivering high-quality music education to our students.

What you'll be doing

1. Directing and conducting our school bands, overseeing all musical aspects of its operations

2. Teaching music and instrumental lessons to primary & high school students

3. Organising and leading performances

4. Collaborating with other TSA teachers and staff

5. Creating and administrating timetables and schedules

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a band director or music teacher in a school setting

2. Outstanding instrumental skills, particularly in concert band or stringed instruments

3. Proven track record of leading successful school band or strings programs

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents and staff

5. Strong organisational and time management abilities

6. Passion for music education and a commitment to student development
