Task & responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing and serving alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages in accordance with venue standards

• Engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner

• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times

• Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock rotation and inventory control

• Processing customer orders and handling point of sale transactions accurately

• Checking customer identification and ensuring responsible service of alcohol requirements are met

• Assisting floor staff and supporting overall restaurant operations during busy periods

• Following workplace health, safety, and food hygiene procedures

• Assisting with opening and closing duties of the venue

Qualification & experience

To be considered for this position, applicants should possess:

• At least 12 months of relevant full time work experience in a bar, restaurant, or hospitality environment

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment

• Professional presentation and positive attitude

• Good organisational skills and attention to detail

• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification or ability to obtain prior to commencement

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
