Public Quarter (Purple Grove Trust & Onicap Trust & Ultivite Trust, ABN 52 406 265 818) is looking for an experienced Bartender to join our work family in our Brisbane CBD Cafe.

We are a well-established busy restaurant & cafe in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. We offer a flexible working week that allows our team to get the best out of each other, work and lifestyle.

We only operate Monday – Friday giving you a great work life balance which is so rare in this industry.

We work closely with our staff to help you up skill.

Looking for an experienced, passionate and hardworking individual who can is a fantastic & experienced bartender. Must be able to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritise work as. We are looking for someone with a positive and enthusiastic personality.

Some duties of the role will include:

• Prepares, serves and sells cocktails, mixed drinks, bottled, canned and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a variety of coffee beverages such as lattes, cappuccinos and other espresso-based beverages
• Cleans and maintains bar service area, coffee-making area and espresso machine
• Collects payment for sales and operates cash registers
• Promotes services and products
• Washes glassware and arranges bottles and glasses
• Taps kegs and attaches supply lines
• Replenishes drink dispensers, shelves and refrigerators
• Sells light snacks
• Monetary duties
• Complying with Health and Safety regulations
• Opening and closing procedures

Skills and qualifications required for this role:

• AQF Certificate II or III, or at least 1 year of full-time work experience
• Initiative and ability to work hard and think smart in a busy environment
• Commitment to the long-term role

Monday – Friday hours. Must be available mornings and afternoons, as well as Friday evenings.
