About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Barista to join our vibrant team at Broadway/ Carrington street bakery in Nedlands, WA. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a Senior Barista, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional coffee creations and providing outstanding customer service to our valued patrons.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, and specialty coffee creations

2. Ensuring consistent and exceptional presentation of all coffee products

3. Providing exceptional customer service, offering recommendations and assisting customers with their orders

4. Maintaining a clean and well-organised workspace, adhering to all health and safety standards

5. Mentoring and training junior baristas to uphold our high standards of quality and customer service

6. Collaborating with the broader team to contribute to the overall success of the bakery

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Barista, with a strong understanding of coffee

2. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team environment

3. Passion for the coffee industry and a commitment to continuously improving your craft

4. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

5. Excellent communication and problem-solving skill
