Scope includes:
- Monitoring conveyor belt systems during operation
- Hosing down conveyor areas when required
- Cleaning spillage around conveyor structures, transfer points and walkways
- Reporting belt tracking issues, damaged rollers, build-up, blockages or abnormal noises
- Assisting maintenance teams with conveyor-related tasks
- Maintaining safe access around conveyor areas
- Following site isolation and permit requirements before working near conveyor systems
Belt runners to support mining operations. The role will involve monitoring conveyor belt systems, assisting with area housekeeping, hosing down conveyor areas when required, managing spillage build-up, and reporting any conveyor defects or operational issues to the maintenance team. All works will be completed in line with site safety procedures, isolation requirements and operational direction.
Day shift generally runs 12-hour days, with an average pay week of 92 hours labour + 4 hours paid travel.
The roster is 8 days on / 6 days off rotating swing.

Pay rates Surface Maintenance
- Day shift: $55/hr
- Night shift: $65/hr
Travel pay: 4 hours @ $55/hr each way
Rates are reviewed and adjusted to reflect demonstrated progress.
