Over the past 25 years, Biosymm has evolved into a quality leading occupational health and physiotherapy consultancy, growing alongside our valued client list that continues to expand.

We are seeking expressions of interest for Hygiene/Health Technicians who are looking for more out of their career. 

Fly In Fly Out roles (ex-Perth)

Deliver a range of health and hygiene services on a FIFO roster flying out of Perth.

Various rosters may include:

• 7:7 (Week on; week off)

• 4:3 (Monday - Thursday)

• 8:6 (Week on; week off)

Salary: $105k+ (+ superannuation)

The successful applicants will work on a mine site in regional WA, but will be closely supported by our Biosymm team and our client's workforce.

You will be responsible for the execution of occupational health and hygiene requirements and wellbeing initiatives, including:

• Audiometric testing

• Spirometry testing

• Fit testing (Respiratory & Hearing)

• Noise monitoring and surveys

• Dust monitoring and water sampling

• Asbestos monitoring

• Diesel particulate matter monitoring

• General Administration Duties

What we Need

• Previous experience as an Occupational Health / Hygiene Technician

• Mine Air Quality Technician qualification (preferable)

• Degree qualification in health, science or related field (preferable)

• Mining experience (preferable)

• Proficiency and qualifications in audiometric testing and results interpretation

• Proficiency and qualifications in spirometry (lung function) testing and results interpretation

• Proficiency in quantitative RPD / HPD fit testing methods

• Proficiency in noise surveys and management plans

• Proficiency in dust monitoring and water sampling

• Proficiency in vent inspections
