Become a member our team as a Boilermaker fabricating structural steel for multiple different construction projects around the Melbourne area. You will have the opportunity to operate machinery and work alongside other experienced boilermakers in-house.

Boilermakers: $55ph plus penalties for OT

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings
• Fabricate and weld structural steel
• Operate various types of machinery (Overhead Crane, Forklift, Band Saw, Punch Machine, etc)
• Proficiency in structural steel fabrication and welding
• Undertaking risk assessments to maintain safe working environments

Requirements

• Possess a Boilermaker trade certificate or equivalent
• Experience fabricating and welding various types of structural steel
• Experience operating machines (Overhead Crane, Forklift, Band Saw, Punch Machine)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Own transport and PPE, including welding gear
• Ability to work efficiently in a production environment
