About the role
We are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team at Connectt Total Business Solutions' in Taylors Beach, NSW. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our clients' businesses.
What you'll be doing
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
Preparing and submitting BAS and IAS statements on time
Reconciling bank statements and credit card accounts
Generating financial reports and statements for clients
Payroll processing and compliance
Liaising with clients, accountants, and other stakeholders as needed
Continuously improving processes and identifying opportunities to streamline operations
What we're looking for
Minimum 3 years' experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role, preferably within a small business environment
Strong working knowledge of accounting software, such as Xero
Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
