OVERVIEW

Our company is growing rapidly with lots of opportunities for people to grow and develop their career path. We currently have a part-time Building Manager position available.

Location: Elizabeth Bay NSW – Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Walking distance to King Cross train station.

Mobile phone and company computers included.

We are looking for a trustworthy and reliable person who can communicate effectively with onsite residents, contractors and the strata committee. Must be well presented with great interpersonal skills. We are also looking for an approachable and friendly person to help build strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise daily with onsite residents.

  • Keep the strata committee well informed.

  • Engage contractors for routine asset servicing and adhoc repairs.

  • Help enforce adherence to by-laws.

  • Provide regular reporting and updates.

  • Manage the onsite team of cleaners in line with the cleaning schedule.

  • Monitor and manage resident move-ins and move-outs.

  • Complete routine onsite inspections of common property.

  • Log tasks in the Building Management System.

To be considered, we require you to possess the following as a minimum:

  • Relevant work experiences in a similar role.

  • Be confident working in older buildings and during remedial projects, helping facilitate communication and access between residents, contractors and strata committee members.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Good conflict resolution skills including the management of disputes.

  • Strata /Building Management knowledge is preferred (not essential)

  • Friendly and positive attitude with plenty of pride in your work.

  • Strong approach towards the completion of tasks.

  • The ability to organize and prioritize the completion of tasks.
