Bus Driver & Maintenance Person
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Bus Driver & Maintenance Person to join our team.
Position Summary:
Provide safe and reliable transportation of children to and from their homes, between service locations, and during excursions.
Assist in the maintenance of vehicles.
Maintain the centres lawns, gardens & external areas.
Assist with general maintenance and repairs

Cullunghutti Aboriginal Child and Family Centre was established under the Indigenous Early Childhood Development National Partnership Agreement (IECDNP), as a Closing the Gap initiative. We are a not-for-profit organisation, and self-managed by our Aboriginal community.
We are looking for Bus Driver & Maintenance Person who believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and heard.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
Class C driver's licence
Experience working with Children
An understanding of The Office of the Children’s Guardians Child Safe Scheme & Child Safe Standards
Demonstrated commitment to child safety and duty of care
Good written and verbal communication skills
A positive friendly manner
Ability to form respectful, responsive relationships with children, families and the local community
Ability to work as part of a dynamic team
REQUIRED IF SUCCESSFUL
Working with children check
Police check
Prohibited Persons Search
Driver Record Check from RMS
First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates
Approved Child Protection & Child Safe Training
