Senior Business Analyst | Energy & Critical Infrastructure
 
We are partnering with a highly regarded organisation delivering a major operational and technology transformation program that will play a significant role in shaping future network operations and supporting a rapidly evolving industry landscape.

An opportunity exists for an experienced Business Analyst to join a large and complex transformation environment supporting the delivery of an Energy Management system upgrade.
 
This is not a traditional requirements only BA role.
Instead, this opportunity will suit a Business Analyst who enjoys working across future state process design, stakeholder engagement, testing support and operational readiness within a highly collaborative delivery environment.
 
About the Program
You will join a large scale transformation portfolio focused on modernising operational capability and introducing next generation technology.
Working alongside Program and Project leadership, SMEs, Change and Training teams and other Business Analysts, you will help shape future state business processes and support delivery across a critical operational program.
 
What You Will Be Doing

• Facilitate and develop Level 3 and Level 4 To Be process maps
• Design and map end to end business and system processes
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable process outcomes - Support functional and technical design activities
• Work closely with Change and Training teams to support future state readiness - Support testing activities including FAT, SAT and UAT
• Assist with test case review and traceability activities
• Contribute to program risks, issues and delivery planning
• Collaborate closely with SMEs, delivery teams and fellow Business Analysts

 
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who brings strong Business Analysis capability within large and complex environments and enjoys working across both strategic and delivery focused activities.
 
You will ideally bring:

• Experience within utilities, infrastructure, engineering, energy or regulated environments -
• Strong process mapping and process improvement capability
• Experience facilitating workshops and engaging diverse stakeholders
• Exposure to functional or technical design documentation - Understanding of the requirements and testing lifecycle
• Experience supporting FAT, SAT and UAT activities
• Hybrid Agile and Waterfall delivery experience
• Strong communication, facilitation and analytical skills

Highly desirable:

• Jira and Confluence
• Visio or Signavio
• Operational Technology or engineering intensive program experience
