We're looking for a commercially driven Business Development Executive to help grow our aftersales and capital equipment divisions across a fast-moving power generation business.
Working alongside and reporting to the Sales Manager, this role combines relationship management, aftersales business development, and end-to-end sales involvement across generators, service, projects and hire.
This isn't a role for someone who wants to sit behind a desk watching leads grow cobwebs.
You'll be out with customers. Following opportunities properly. Building long-term relationships. Supporting service growth. Identifying equipment opportunities. Helping turn conversations into real work.
The roleYou'll be involved across:
Aftersales business development
Customer relationship management
Capital equipment sales support
Account growth and opportunity development
Quoting and commercial follow-through
Coordination with service and operational teams
Some days you'll be walking a shutdown site.
Some days you'll be chasing a generator opportunity.
Some days you'll be helping grow service accounts already on the books.
No two weeks look the same here.
What we're looking forYou may come from backgrounds such as:
Heavy equipment
Trucks or transport
Industrial services
Mechanical or diesel industries
Infrastructure or construction
OEM or dealer networks
Power generation
Industry experience helps, but attitude matters more.
We're looking for someone who:
Builds trust quickly
Communicates well with customers and technicians alike
Has strong commercial awareness
Follows through and stays organised
Can manage multiple opportunities at once
Wants to help grow a business, not just hold a territory
A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience
Australian work rights required
If you understand industrial equipment and customer relationships, we can help teach the generator side.
