Total Window Concepts (TWC) is a fast-growing, Australian-owned manufacturing company specialising in custom-made window furnishings. As part of our strategic growth, we are expanding into the Perth market and are seeking an experienced high-performing industry professional to spearhead this expansion.

About the Role

This is not a traditional account management role.

We are seeking a strategic Business Development Manager whose primary mandate is to penetrate the Perth market, target new business opportunities, and establish strong commercial relationships within the blinds and window furnishings industry.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in identifying, targeting, and securing new clients, leveraging their existing industry network and market knowledge to accelerate TWC’s growth in Western Australia.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building new territory, opening doors, and converting market opportunities into long-term commercial partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying and head-hunting new re-seller business opportunities within the window furnishings industry.

• Developing and executing a territory growth strategy for Perth and surrounding regions.

• Building strong commercial relationships with retailers, installers and industry partners.

• Leveraging your existing industry network to establish new supply relationships for TWC.

• Conducting targeted outreach to key industry players and decision-makers.

• Representing TWC at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums to expand brand presence.

• Presenting TWC’s product range, capabilities, and commercial offering to prospective partners.

• Maintaining market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities.

About the Incumbent

To succeed in this role, you must be well connected within the industry and capable of opening doors quickly.

The ideal candidate will bring:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience within the blinds, awnings or window coverings industry (essential).

• Demonstrated success in B2B business development and market expansion.

• An existing network of industry contacts across retailers, installers.

• Strong commercial acumen and ability to negotiate and close deals.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Highly proactive, self-driven, and results oriented.

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a growth territory.
