NES Fircroft is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team in Brisbane, focused on driving revenue growth and expanding our footprint across the mining sector in Queensland and wider Australia.
This is a standout opportunity to join a global leader in technical workforce solutions and take ownership of a high-potential market, supporting mining operators, EPCMs, and contractors with scalable workforce solutions across brownfield and greenfield projects.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Drive Business Growth – Proactively identify, target, and win new business across mining clients, from junior explorers to Tier 1 operators. Position NES Fircroft as the go-to partner for delivering skilled talent across engineering, geoscience, HSE, and operations.
Develop Strategic Client Relationships – Build and commercialise relationships with key decision-makers including project directors, asset managers, HR leaders, and procurement teams. Embed yourself as a trusted partner across project lifecycles.
Sell Technical Workforce Solutions – Lead with a solutions-based sales approach across contract staffing, permanent hires, and project mobilisation. Support clients across mine planning, FEED, construction, commissioning, and production phases.
Consult with Clients on Workforce Strategy – Provide market intelligence on talent shortages, salary benchmarking, workforce planning, and contractor engagement models across commodities such as iron ore, coal, and critical minerals.
Collaborate with Global Teams – Leverage NES Fircroft’s international network to deliver end-to-end workforce solutions, mobilising talent across regions to meet project timelines and compliance requirements.
