The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth across the retail network while ensuring the highest standards of brand execution and regulatory compliance are consistently achieved. This role is accountable for identifying growth opportunities, strengthening outlet performance, and working closely with retailers to optimise sales across all product categories. Through proactive engagement, data-led insights and targeted initiatives, the Business Development Manager supports retailers to maximise revenue, improve customer experience, and deliver against commercial objectives.

Equally, the role serves as a key guardian of the brand and regulatory framework, ensuring all instore retail operations align with established brand standards and legislative requirements. This includes monitoring compliance, reinforcing operational expectations, and providing clear guidance to retailers to mitigate risk and uphold integrity across the network. By balancing commercial growth with disciplined compliance, the Business Development Manager ensures the network operates at both peak performance and the highest level of governance. Please note this role is covers our Newcastle/Central Coast region. A current drivers license is required.

• Execute call cycles: Deliver consistent, high-quality retailer engagement

• Collaborate: Partner with internal teams to drive aligned results

What you'll bring

• Formal tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
  
  
• Extensive retail experience - demonstrated experience in a field based environment with a strong understanding of operations, small business levels and customer behaviors
  
  
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and franchising requirements
  
  
• Experience in multi-site or franchising environments ideal
  
  
• Strong analytical and data led decision making
  
  
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial analysis, sales and marketing principles, and operational management.
  
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence and effectively engage with franchisees at all levels.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations.
