Oz-Tac is an Australian-owned engineering and manufacturing company specialising in custom-built machinery and innovative industrial solutions for the timber processing, oil & gas, and construction sectors.

With a strong reputation for innovation, quality, and reliability, we are looking for a driven Business Development / Sales Representative to help grow our next phase.
About the Role
This is not a desk-sales role.
We are looking for someone who can build relationships, identify opportunities, and work directly with industry decision-makers to develop long-term partnerships.
You will focus on:
Oil & Gas
Timber Processing & Manufacturing
Construction & Industrial Projects
You'll work closely with our leadership and engineering team to identify opportunities where Oz-Tac can provide machinery, fabrication, engineering, automation, and turnkey solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and develop new business opportunities
Build relationships with plant managers, operations managers, project managers, and business owners
Conduct site visits and client meetings
Identify client problems and help scope practical engineering solutions
Develop sales pipelines and maintain CRM activity
Prepare quotations and follow up opportunities
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Work with the internal engineering and production teams to deliver solutions
Help expand Oz-Tac's presence across multiple industrial sectors
What We're Looking For
Proven business to business sales or business development experience
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Ability to understand technical or industrial environments
Self-motivated and results-driven
Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings
Experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, engineering, construction, timber, or oil & gas industries is highly regarded
Ability to travel for client visits when required
Australian citizenship required for this position
