What you'll be doing
As a Lifestyle Assistant you will;
Support daily living with purpose: Help participants build confidence and independence in their everyday routines
Encourage independence: Empower our clients to make choices and build confidence in their own abilities
Stay connected: Join participants in community activities, social programs, and outings like shopping or events
Collaborate with care: Work closely with participants, their families, and key supports to understand their goals and preferences
Keeping things on track: Maintain clear and accurate records, review support plans, and follow best-practice guidelines
Champion rights and voice: Help participants express their views, raise concerns, and feel heard and respected
Look out for safety: Identify and report any risks or concerns to your supervisor promptly
Uphold best practice: Only use approved, trained restrictive practices when required and always with care and compliance.

What we need from you?
Current NDIS Worker Screening and WWCC (if required)
First Aid Certificate
Driver's License
Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle
New Worker NDIS Induction Module
Completion of New Worker NDIS Induction Module is required before commencing employment
Clear Police Check
Smartphone
A formal certificate may not be required if the individual has relevant experience and skills β recommended qualifications Certificate III in Individual Support, Mental Health, Aged Care, Community Services, Disability Work or similar.
