O'Brien Group is excited to offer the opportunity for you to join our Kitchen Team at Adelaide Showground for year-round events, as well as the iconic Royal Adelaide Show (Saturday, 5th – Sunday, 13th September). We are looking for adaptable, reliable, highly motivated, and passionate Casual Chefs and Kitchenhands who can contribute to and enhance our operation at Adelaide Showground.

About the Role

As a member of the O’Brien Group Team, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of events and functions of differing size, style and offering; all within the much-loved Adelaide Showground venue.

About You

To be successful in this casual position, you will have:

· 1 year or more experience working in commercial venues/event catering

· Trade Qualifications (Chef only)

· A hands-on approach to the daily operations of working in a busy kitchen environment

· The ability to take direction and work in a team

· HACCP food safety knowledge

· The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen

· Ability to work with limited supervision

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Willingness to work varying shifts during the Royal Adelaide Show (05/09/2026 – 13/09/2026)
