Position Overview 

As a Casual Wait Team Member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests receive exceptional service across both our restaurant and bar. Your responsibilities will include: 

• Guest Service: Providing attentive and personalised service to all guests, ensuring their dining and social experiences are enjoyable and memorable. 

• Order Taking and Delivery: Accurately taking orders and delivering food and beverages promptly in both the restaurant and bar settings. 

• Table and Bar Maintenance: Setting up and clearing tables and bar areas efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organisation throughout service. 

• Menu and Beverage Knowledge: Demonstrating a thorough understanding of our menu and beverage offerings to assist guests with selections and accommodate special requests. 

• Team Collaboration: Working cohesively with kitchen, bar, and fellow wait team members to ensure seamless service. 

About You 

We are looking for individuals who possess: 

• Experience: Previous experience as section waiter crucial, ideally with casual fine-dining background

• Customer Focus: A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service - we're looking for people who love people!. 

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities - with a smile! 

• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle various tasks simultaneously. 

• Team Spirit: A collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues across different service areas. 

• Availability: Ability to work Fridays and Saturdays.

Working Hours 

• Schedule: The Embassy and The Foreign Office operate from Tuesday to Saturday. We are particularly looking for new team members that can work FRIDAYS AND SATURDAYS.

• Hours: Casual positions with around 15-30 plus hours per week, in accordance with Australian labour laws. Flexibility is essential to meet the operational needs of both the restaurant and bar.
