Some of the duties of the role will include ;
- Assist with general daily routines of the young people you will be supporting.
- Medication administration, meal preparation, domestic chores, personal care, running everyday errands and creating fun activities
- Help young people conquer challenges - from homework to healthy habits
- Be their trusted guide - provide transportation and facilitate meaningful connections with families
- Keep detailed records - shift notes completed and recorded each day
What you need to be successful to work for Talent Quarter;
- Relevant qualifications such as a Diploma in Community Services, Youth Work, or similar
- Minimum 6 months + paid experience managing challenging behaviours in Youth work
- Essential checks and qualifications - National Police Check, WWCC, First AID and CPR
- A valid driver's license and a reliable car + a willingness to drive the young people you support to where they want to go. ( Kms reimbursed)
- TCI training is preferable and becoming an Industry standard
