Cementing and/or Stimulation Laboratory Technician

About the Role

Due to continued growth across our operations, AUSCOIL is seeking an experienced Cementing and/or Stimulation Laboratory Technician to join our team in Toowoomba.

Reporting directly to the Senior Technical Engineer - Cementing, this full-time position is based in Toowoomba and operates on a Monday to Friday roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform testing of well cementing fluids in accordance with Australian standards.
• Prepare accurate laboratory reports and technical documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage consumables and spare parts inventory.
• Support product development, testing programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure laboratory activities are conducted safely and in accordance with company procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Minimum 2+ year of experience as a Cementing Laboratory Technician within the well services industry.
• Residence in, or willingness to relocate to, the Toowoomba region.
• Sound knowledge of well cement testing procedures and laboratory best practices.
• Experience preparing and presenting laboratory test reports.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
• The ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
