Mimosa Kids Preschool and Early Learning Centre is located within Mimosa Public school grounds and caters for children aged 18 months to Preschool. We have a rare opportunity for a dedicated Cert III/Diploma qualified Educator to join our well established, friendly team.

We are proudly independently owned and family run with over 40 years experience in Early Childhood Education and Care. Our team holds a wealth of knowledge in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children are fostered to become happy individuals that can positively contribute to their community and the greater society.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of a high-quality educational program for children

• Implement the room’s routine and the Service’s procedures in collaboration with other

  educators.

• Assess learning and effectively reflect on all aspects of the program cycle

• Ensuring families, children, and other educators have a sense of belonging

• Develop and implement learning programs based on your knowledge of each child, their interests, and goals using the Early Years Learning Framework

• Support the daily routines and activities within the Centre

• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Valid Working with Children Check

• Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate in an Education & Care Setting

• A thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Framework (NQF)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team

• A passion for providing high quality childcare and education
