We are seeking an enthusiastic Certificate III Educator to join our team at wirrigirri Kindergarten.
Our beautiful, purpose-built three-room kindergarten, wirrigirri Kindergarten is located on the grounds of Wirrigirri Primary School in Wollert, offering families a modern and welcoming early years learning environment in Melbourne’s growing northern corridor.
At wirrigirri Kindergarten, we provide engaging play-based learning programs across our multi-age kinder groups, supporting children to build confidence, develop independence, form meaningful relationships, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
The name wirrigirri (pronounced werry-jerry) comes from the Woiwurrung language of the Wurundjeri people and means “messenger,” reflecting our strong focus on communication, connection, and community.

This role is 26.25 hours per week, working Monday 9:00am–11:15am, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:00am–4:30pm.

About you
You're reflective, curious and purpose-led, with a deep commitment to making a difference.
You're open to learning and understanding the unique needs of every child.
You're a critical thinker and collaborative team member.
You have a drive to grow and improve continually.
You value kindness and respect.
You have great knowledge of the child safe standards and early childhood regulations.
You hold a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or equivalent, a WWCC, mandatory reporting certificate, police check and a first aid certificate.
