Operating from 6:00am to 6:00pm, our service offers natural play spaces, light-filled rooms. With both indoor and outdoor areas, we create the perfect setting for children to explore, discover, and thrive.

The Lakes Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Childcare Chef/Cook to join our warm, family-owned service. This is a permanent part-time position, 5 days per week, with early finishes available, offering a great work-life balance.

In this role, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks for children each day, playing a key part in supporting their health, wellbeing and development. You'll have the opportunity to create engaging menus, promote healthy eating habits and contribute to a positive mealtime experience that children look forward to.

• Prioritises children’s wellbeing by providing nutritious meals that support growth and learning.

• Food Safety Supervisor & Food Handling Certificates

🍃 About The Role:

• Preparing morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea daily

• Menu planning, ordering and stock control

• Ensuring compliance with food safety standards

• Planning and delivering weekly cooking experiences with children

• Catering for allergy and dietary requirements
