We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Childcare Service Director to lead our welcoming family-owned early learning service in Adelaide.
As a family-owned and operated centre, we pride ourselves on creating a warm, supportive, and community-focused environment where children, families, and educators feel genuinely valued. We are looking for a dedicated leader who shares our commitment to high-quality early childhood education and building strong relationships within our centre community.
About the RoleAs the Service Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the service while leading and supporting a dedicated team of educators. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, mentoring staff, supporting curriculum excellence, and fostering a positive and nurturing culture for children and families.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire a team of educators and support staff
Ensure compliance with National Quality Standards (NQS) and ACECQA regulations
Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community
Support curriculum planning aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
Manage enrolments, occupancy, and daily operations
Mentor and develop educators through positive leadership and coaching
Maintain a collaborative and supportive workplace culture
Oversee administration, staffing, and operational performance
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a Centre Director
Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and compliance requirements
Excellent leadership and communication skills
A genuine passion for early childhood education and care
Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
Current Working With Children Check
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
