About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. You will play a key role in the planning, design, delivery, and supervision of civil infrastructure projects, with a strong focus on road construction, pavement works, and local government/major roads projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review reports for road, pavement, and drainage infrastructure

• Undertake site investigations, inspections, and quality control during construction phases

• Manage project documentation, variations, progress claims, and compliance with relevant standards (Austroads, RMS/TfNSW, local council specs)

• Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities

• Provide technical support and mentoring to junior engineers and site teams

• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (Bachelor’s degree or higher)

• Minimum 3–8+ years’ post-graduate experience in civil infrastructure/road construction projects

• Experience preparing technical reports, specifications, and contract documentation

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Current Australian driver’s licence and White Card (or willingness to obtain)

Highly desirable/good to have

• Practical experience in asphalt pavement works – including mix design, laying, compaction, quality testing, and defect rectification

• Exposure to road rehabilitation, asphalt overlay projects, or pavement maintenance programs

• Familiarity with pavement materials testing and performance assessment
