The opportunity

We’re looking for a Claims Officer to join our Property Claims team! You’ll play a key role in supporting customers through the end-to-end claims process in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. Your new role

• Manage a portfolio of property claims from lodgement through to resolution

• Analyse policy coverage and ensure accurate, timely claim decisions

• Set reserves, authorise payments, and negotiate fair claim outcomes

• Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, providing professional and responsive service

• Ensure compliance with insurance guidelines, identifying and escalating risks where required

• Identify potential fraud or suspicious activity while maintaining clear and confidential communication

About you

• Experience managing a portfolio of claims, including end-to-end customer interactions

• A strong customer service background with a passion for delivering quality outcomes and building a career in insurance

• Confident working in a high-volume, phone-based environment, managing competing priorities effectively

• Ability to build rapport and navigate a range of customer expectations, including handling difficult or complex conversations

• Empathetic and professional approach when supporting customers through challenging situations

• Highly organised, self-motivated and a confident communicator across both phone and written channels
