Connect People are currently seeking 2 x Cleaning Supervisors for an immediate start across school sites in Brisbane.

Our client is a leading facilities management contractor delivering cleaning and maintenance services across Queensland's Department of Education assets.

The Details

• $40.00/hr + Super
• Monday to Friday, approximately 7am – 3pm
• Initial 3 month Contract role with strong possibility of extension

What You'll Be Doing

• Overseeing day-to-day cleaning operations across a primary school site
• Allocating tasks and ensuring quality and presentation standards are consistently met
• Leading, training and mentoring a team of cleaners including subcontractors
• Conducting site inspections and driving continuous improvement on site
• Managing reporting, supplies and minor facilities tasks
• Rolling up your sleeves and getting hands-on when the team needs it

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience in a cleaning or facilities environment
• Confidence stepping into a leadership or supervisory role
• Strong communication and team coordination skills
• Current Working with Children clearance (QLD) — mandatory
• Recent National Police Check or the ability to obtain one
• A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
• Physical capability to perform hands-on work when required
