**Client Storytelling & Fundraising Support Volunteer**
We are seeking a student or volunteer to assist in developing a meaningful collection of client stories to support our fundraising and marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for a student or volunteer with an interest in communications, journalism, marketing, social work, or community engagement who is passionate about capturing and sharing impactful stories.

**Role Purpose**
The volunteer will work collaboratively with service staff and clients to gather authentic client stories that highlight the impact of our programs and services. These stories will contribute to fundraising collateral, marketing materials, and community engagement initiatives.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Liaise with services staff to identify clients who may be willing to share their stories
* Coordinate and conduct interviews with clients, and where appropriate, family members and staff
* Develop a respectful and engaging interview approach that ensures clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences
* Provide accurate transcripts of interviews
* Create a professionally written 1–2 page edited client story that can be adapted for a range of fundraising and promotional purposes
* Ensure confidentiality, consent, and sensitivity are maintained throughout the process

**Skills & Attributes**

* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to engage empathetically with clients from diverse backgrounds
* Good organisational and interviewing skills
* Attention to detail and ability to write compelling, audience-friendly stories
* Experience or interest in marketing, communications, journalism, social work, or related fields is desirable
