About the role

The Club Manager is accountable for the operations of the Club and is responsible for a number of key outcomes of the associated business. The position plays a significant role in planning, drives sales and profitability, provides leadership, supervision and development to other Club staff and manages/oversees personal training contractors. Responsibilities include:

·       Making daily 50 + sales calls daily to enquiries and conducting tours and signing up new members. The manager works closely with the franchisee to ensure the success of the business, from marketing to sales and retention with an excellent member experience at all times.

·       Responsible for administrative duties (e.g. responding to member queries via email, taking phone calls, responding to member feedback as well as head office requests)

·       Management of gym staff, personal trainers, and group fitness instructors.

·       Maintaining gym standards ( especially organisation, cleanliness, maintenance, OH&S). The club manager is responsible for ensuring the gym is safe and clean at all times.

·       Outreach for lead generation (contacting local businesses and community groups to form partnerships and generate leads and new members)

·       Supervising the social media presence of the club and being comfortable on camera to promote the club and film promotional material.

About you

You are an energetic, passionate and goal-driven professional, with a proven ability to hit targets. You thrive in an upbeat work environment and love creating relationships with members and have the following:

·       Be people-focused and highly organised

·       Have experience building a club culture to be proud of and gain satisfaction from operating, selling and promoting an exceptional fitness facility!

·       Experience in sales is desireable

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·       Have a genuine ability to take on feedback and improve to thrive in the role.

Must have qualifications:

·       Minimum Certificate III in Fitness. Certificate IV desireable.

·       Current First Aid certifacate and CPR (or higher qualification).

·       Must have appropriate working with children check.

·       Strong business acumen and demonstrated experience in a similar environment (e.g.: fitness, retail e.tc.) will be highly regarded.

About the gym

Snap Fitness Belmont opened in August 2025. Our Club Manager is required to commence from mid June 2026 to lead the team. It is a state of the art facility, with brand new top of the range Hammer Strength equipment. The gym also boasts a reformer pilates studio, infrared sauna and much more!
