Lead Large-Scale Insurance Building Projects Across WA

Major Loss Builders is a leading insurance building and restoration company specialising in residential, commercial and major loss repairs across Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee Large Loss building operations, project delivery and field teams across a diverse portfolio of insurance repair and restoration works.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong construction leader who understands quality delivery, operational performance and client management within a fast-paced insurance environment.

🗂️ The Role: Construction Manager

You will be responsible for leading construction delivery teams, managing project performance and ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing construction operations across multiple projects and teams

• Driving project timelines, quality and financial outcomes

• Ensuring WHS and compliance requirements are met

• Working closely with insurers, assessors and clients

• Managing large-loss and complex insurance repair projects

• Reviewing project progress, budgets and operational reporting

• Responsible for trades, subcontractors and site performance overall

• Supporting recruitment, mentoring and team development

• Managing a team of 6 site and 4 admin team members

✅ What We're Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Previous experience as a Construction Manager, Senior Supervisor or Operations Manager

• Strong construction knowledge across residential and commercial building

• Insurance building experience highly regarded

• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills

• Strong understanding of construction compliance and WHS requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

• Trade or building qualifications required

• Trade certificate, building diploma/certificate, or bachelor's degree qualification preferred
