About Austk Construction Pty Ltd
Austk Construction Pty Ltd is a fast growing developer-builder group specialising in residential townhouse and apartment developments across Queensland.
Our group has successfully delivered over 300 apartments and 24 townhouses, with a further 34 townhouses currently under construction. With a strong pipeline and long-term growth strategy, the group also holds substantial land reserves with approximately 700 townhouses planned for future development.
As both the developer and builder, we offer our team members the opportunity to be involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from feasibility and procurement through to construction delivery and completion.
We are focused on building a long-term, high-performing team and are seeking motivated professionals who want to grow with the business.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Contract Administrator to join our growing townhouse development and construction team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical and commercial aspects of residential construction. You will be responsible for contract administration, cost control, procurement support, estimating support, and project financial management across multiple townhouse projects.
The successful applicant will be required to work 1 day per week in our Gold Coast office (Southport) and 4 days onsite in Griffin.
You will work closely with the project management team, site staff, consultants, and subcontractors to help ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

Prepare and administer head contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and procurement schedules
Assist with quantity take-offs from drawings and project documentation

Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor project budgets, timelines, and compliance requirements
Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and contract obligations
Support the development team with cost planning and financial reporting
Assist site teams with project documentation, reporting, and contract administration processes
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ experience in townhouse or residential construction projects
Strong understanding of contract administration and construction estimating practices
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to work independently
Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field are advantageous
Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and construction management software such as Procore is advantageous
Valid driver licence and reliable vehicle preferred
What We Offer
Opportunity to work on large-scale residential townhouse developments
Exposure to both development and construction operations
