About the Role
Are you passionate about building secure applications and safeguarding cutting-edge technology in the fintech space? At DMG, we’re reshaping global payments and security is at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a Cyber & Application Security Engineer who can blend deep technical expertise with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset to protect our applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with developers and DevSecOps to embed security across the software lifecycle, from design to release.
• Configure and manage security controls (firewalls, SIEM, IAM, PAM, endpoint protection, etc.) and lead incident investigations.
• Secure applications across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and ensure APIs are resilient against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Support audits and frameworks (PCI DSS, PCI PIN, SOC 2, ISO 27001) while running penetration tests, access reviews, and risk assessments.
• Train and enable teams with secure coding practices, awareness sessions, and a shift-left approach to security.

What We're Looking For

• 5–8 years’ experience in cybersecurity, application security, or related engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of web app & cloud security, OWASP Top 10, and SANS CWE Top 25.
• Hands-on with tools like GitLab, SonarQube, Veracode, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP.
• Experience across firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, PAM, endpoint security.
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Shell) and secure coding in languages such as JavaScript, Golang, .NET.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices security.
• Certifications such as OSWE, OSCP, CSSLP, CISSP, or CCSP are highly desirable.
• Bonus points for experience in fintech, payments, or other highly regulated industries.
