We're partnering with a leading financial services client seeking an experienced Data Platform Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud data platform solutions.

This role will focus on defining end-to-end architecture across modern data platforms, data warehousing, ingestion, governance, and Identity & Access Management (IAM), ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned to business and technology strategies.

Key Requirements

• 10+ years' IT experience, including Solution Architecture experience within large enterprise environments.
• Strong experience designing modern cloud data platforms, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures.
• Deep expertise in Identity & Access Management (IAM), including Azure AD, AWS IAM, RBAC, ABAC, and fine-grained access controls.
• Proven experience architecting secure data access models across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data environments.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or similar data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of data governance, metadata management, lineage, and cataloguing tools.
• Experience with data ingestion frameworks including Fivetran, AWS DMS, CDC, API-based integrations, and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, dbt, or Step Functions.
• Ability to balance security, compliance, scalability, performance, and cost in cloud environments.
• Experience in financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated environments.
