We are currently seeking an enthusiatic and friendly Dental Assistant to join our welcoming team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about patient care who is looking to grow and develop a long term career within a supportive, professional environment.

About the role:

This is a permanent part time position, 2-3 days/week with potential to transition into a full- time position. You'll be involved in all areas of dental assisting, with occasional reception duties as required. Flexibility to cover for team members during periods of leave or illness would also be important.

The position involves:

• Providing chairside assistance to the dentist

• Carrying out sterilisation and maintaining infection control to a high standard

• Ensuring the clinical environment is clean, organised, and well-presented

• Performing general cleaning duties

• Managing and restocking supplies

• Supporting reception tasks as required
  

About You:

• Friendly, professional and reliable

• Passionate about patient care and ensuring patient comfort

• Excellent attention to detail

• Adaptable team player with a strong work ethic

• Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative

• Qualified in Dental Assisting (Cert III or equivalent)

• Previous experience in reception/admin duties is an advantage but not essential

• Minimum 2+ years of dental assisting experience required
