The Role
As the Deputy Director Explosive Ordnance Storage and Distribution, you will play a key role in the successful ongoing management and performance of the Explosive Ordnance Services Contract (EOSC). The EOSC is a strategic partnership between Defence and the contracted service provider that manages the storage and distribution of ADF Explosive Ordnance, nationwide.
The role leads two functional areas: Operations, which ensures the effective delivery of logistic services to users, and Contract Assurance, that ensures these services are delivered in accordance with a range of Contract, legislative and policy requirements. It is a busy role that requires excellent task management, communication, and a focus on results.

This role is eligible for an additional remuneration benefit known in Defence as a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP). This enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the base salary otherwise payable under the Defence Enterprise Collective Agreement (DECA), for positions in occupational disciplines/classifications that are critical to Defence capability. About our Team
The Directorate of Logistics - Explosive Ordnance comprises of four functional areas in support of ADF explosive ordnance storage and distribution; Contract Management, EO Licensing, Facilities Planning and Delivery, and Logistics Capability Planning. In this role, as the Deputy Director Explosive Ordnance Storage and Distribution, you will lead a contract management team supporting and reporting to the Director of Logistics - Explosive Ordnance.
