Beauty Therapist

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Beauty Therapist to join our team at Dream Beauty Planet in Corio, Geelong. This full-time role is perfect for someone who is proactive, with a solid background in personal care and service. You will be responsible for improving store performance, leading the team, and ensuring excellent customer service in a busy environment. Task & responsibilities

• Conducting consultations to assess client needs, analyzing skin types, and recommending appropriate skincare treatments, therapies, and makeup applications.
• Applying both general cosmetic and corrective makeup to clients.
• Performing manicures and pedicures, including decorative nail art, the application of artificial nails, nail repair, and other specialized hand and foot treatments.
• Administering facial and body treatments, including massages, to enhance client wellness and relaxation.
• Providing hair removal services through waxing, bleaching, tinting, depilation, and electrolysis.
• Evaluating and recommending beauty therapy products and services to clients, ensuring the best results.
• Managing client bookings, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate client records.
• Offering expert advice on and selling skincare, cosmetic, and beauty products.
• Conducting skin analysis, offering facial therapies, and performing body treatments such as massage.

Qualification & experience

• Previous experience in a beauty therapy or customer service environment, with a focus on team leadership and client satisfaction.
• Strong understanding of beauty therapy operations, including treatments, services, and sales strategies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead a team and deliver high-quality customer service.
• Skilled in managing inventory, ensuring product availability, and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, with a commitment to compliance.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing beauty environment while adapting to client needs.
• Relevant qualifications in Beauty Therapy or a related field are preferred.
