Boilermaker/ Metal Fabricator

Peakhurst Wrought Iron PTY LTD (ABN: 38 608 384 041) is expanding the team and therefore are currently seeking 2 motivated and enthusiastic Boilermakers/Metal Fabricators to join our Peakhurst-based team.

We are an Australian-owned company with over 6 years of experience in wrought iron and steel fabrication. Our services include fabrication, installation, and plant maintenance. We pride ourselves on our integrity and high standards, ensuring the successful delivery of every project. With a mix of workshop and on-site work, every day brings something new.

Essential Criteria, Experience and Skills, Proven experience working with various metals such as steel, stainless steel, and wrought iron.

Skilled in TIG and MIG welding techniques.

Familiarity with pattern development and reading technical drawings.  Proficient in the use of fabrication equipment.

Experience developing patterns for bends, tees, cones.

Ability to work independently and unsupervised. Strong time management and problem-solving skills.

Good communication skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

Minimum 2 years of trade experience. Qualifications Australian Trade Certificate. Construction White Card.

Valid driver’s license. Forklift ticket (advantageous).

Job description:

Standard hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Permanent Full Time position (Must be available to work on weekends).

A mix of workshop and on-site work metal work and fabrication keeps things varied and interesting. Salary range between $80,000-95,000 per annum
