This excellent opportunity will be offered on a Permanent Full-Time basis at 38 hours a week.

Desirable skills:

• Experience working with formwork systems (e.g., Peri, Doka, or traditional timber formwork)
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete work and industrial site safety practices

Task & responsibilities

• Build and dismantle formwork for concrete structures including foundations, slabs, and retaining walls
• Construct, install, and repair structural frameworks such as walls, floors, beams, columns, and stairways
• Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, plywood, and metal according to technical drawings
• Interpret blueprints and construction plans accurately
• Install temporary structures like scaffolding and bracing when necessary
• Ensure proper alignment and level of structures using appropriate tools and techniques
• Adhere strictly to safety guidelines, building codes, and site regulations
• Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other trades
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Maintain tools and work areas in clean, safe condition

Qualification & experience

• AQF Certificate III in carpentry
• Minimum of 1 year of work experience in civil or structural construction projects
